In February 2025, the IAAEU library had the pleasure of welcoming three visiting academics from the Universidade de Lisboa.
Prof. Pedro Madeira de Brito, Prof. Guilherme Machado Dray, and Guilherme Grillo used the IAAEU library to advance their research projects. During their stay, they were accompanied and supported by a dedicated group of students.
It was a special honor for the IAAEU to continue this international friendship. Hopefully, their time with us was a valuable enrichment for their scientific work, it certainly was for us!
In November, we had the pleasure of welcoming Aidan Harker as a guest at our institute. Mr. Harker is a doctoral candidate at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and is supervised by Prof. Dr. Daniel Ulber.
In his dissertation, Mr. Harker deals with the dogmatic foundations and effects of time-related regulations in employment law. At the IAAEU, he researched the regulation of working time in EU labor law, in particular the links between working time law and the social dimension of the internal market. The extensive stock of literature in the institution's library enabled him to gain new insights.
